Four Rebound Surgeons Awarded 2011-2012 Best Doctors in America

January 24, 2011 – Portland, OR – Mark Colville, M.D., Jay Crary, M.D., Gregory Gramstad, M.D., and Scott Woll, M.D., were awarded 2011-2012 Best Doctors in America by Boston-based Best Doctors, Inc.  This award is determined by a confidential peer-to-peer survey conducted by Best Doctors, Inc. of over 50,000 doctors nationally.  Once a physician is nominated, Best Doctors, Inc. further evaluates the nominee’s credentials, disciplinary actions, and clinical activity.  Only 3-5% of doctors practicing in the U.S. are selected for inclusion in this list.

Mark Colville, M.D.  is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee, shoulder, and sports medicine.  He recieved this award from 1996-2000 and again in 2007-present.  Dr. Colville is the official team physician for the Portland Winterhawks and Portland State University Athletics.

Jay Crary, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon with sub-specialty interest in foot and ankle conditions. Prior to this year’s win, Dr. Crary was awarded Best Doctor in America in 2007-2008.

2011-2012 is the first year Gregory Gramstad, M.D. earned this honor.  Dr. Gramstad is an orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery.

Scott Woll, M.D. has won this award annually since 1996.  He is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in problems of the foot and ankle and was one of the first physicians in the Pacific Northwest to focus on complex foot recontructive surgery.  Dr. Woll is honored to be acknowledge by his peers with this award.
