Margaret Dancan, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Margaret Dancan has been a physician assistant for 18 years. She worked in internal medicine for 11 years before becoming a neurosurgery P.A. over five years ago when she worked at Oregon Health Sciences University. Her main areas of interest are the Pituitary gland and neuroendocrine disorders.
Margaret was the first civilian PA in Kuwait where She worked as a civil servant (GS - government service for the Department of Defense), running their Occupational Medicine program. In 1998-1999, during Operation Desert Thunder, she was stationed at Camp Doha, which is 50 miles from the Iraqi border. In addition to treating soldiers, she offered medical care to the workers at the camp. These workers were mostly from third world countries, including Bangladesh, India.
In her free time, Margaret likes to scuba dive, read, cook, and crochet.
