T. David Hayes MD is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in all aspects of knee surgery; arthroscopy, sports medicine and arthritis surgery including joint replacement. He is a longstanding member of the Knee Society. Dr. Hayes is known for a frank and honest relationship with his patients. Precision and attention to detail in surgery and post-operative rehabilitation have been hallmarks of his orthopedic practice for over 30 years. The integration of new technologies and procedures to achieve a modern orthopedic practice has been particularly gratifying.

In addition to his commitment to family and friends. Dr. Hayes enjoys golf, skiing and carpentry. He is interested in meditation and the mind-body connection. As a physician, he welcomes his patient's active participation in the healing process. He has participated in humanitarian mission in Romania as a member of Northwest Medical Teams. His work with Portland State University athletic teams has helped keep him young.
