R. Wendell Pierce, M.D.

Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Pierce relocated from the Boston area in 2008 where he had been staff orthopedic surgeon at Harvard University Health System in addition to his private practice in general orthopedics in Winchester, north of Boston. In his 35 years of active practice, Dr. Pierce has covered the entire spectrum of orthopedic specialties and surgeries. He has cared for all age groups from pediatric to geriatric and is known in his community for problem solving, good communication with patients and families and complying with evidence based medicine. Dr. Pierce is now primarily involved in the office practice of orthopedics seeing all aspects of orthopedics and all age groups. He has a working relationship with his fellow orthopedic and neurosurgeons.

Dr. Pierce has relocated to the Portland/Vancouver area to be closer to his two daughters and twin grandchildren. He has many interests including vocal and instrumental music, gardening, cooking, and many outdoor sports including windsurfing, kayaking and hiking.
