Thomas C. Reis, M.D.
Thomas C. Reis, M.D. is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and served as Governor of the WA Chapter of ACP (1994-1998). He has been cited by Portland Monthly Magazine as one of the area's top physicians, based on a survey which asked area physicians which doctor they would trust if they or a family member were sick. Dr. Reis has been the Internist for the Portland Trailblazers since 1994.
Dr. Reis is a graduate of Creighton Medical School in Omaha, NE. He completed his internship at the Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, NY and his residency at OHSU in Portland, OR.
As an active member of the hospital staff of Southwest Washington Medical Center he received numerous awards for his work over many years as Chairman of the Morbidity and Mortality Committee and the HIV/AIDS Task Force. The Clark County Medical Society presented him with the Good Citizen Award in 1988 and 1993. He was the recipient of the Clark County Hall of Fame Award. This honor was presented by East Vancouver Rotary in 1988.
Dr. Reis will be seeing patients at the Rebound's Rose Quarter office Portland. He is interested in being able to spend time with patients, concentrating on preventive care.
He lives in Vancouver, WA with his wife Gerrie. They have three children - Mark, David & Kim and two grandchildren - Bodhi and Chase.
