After some discussion, Dr. Borus agreed that I was a good candidate for Bi-Lateral Total Knee Replacements, and I had them done in June of 2008. Within 8 weeks I was back in my dog agility class and by 11 weeks I could walk 5 miles. I was very dedicated to the PT, which is one reason Dr. Borus was willing to do both knees at the same time. He's an excellent surgeon and I received excellent care at SW Medical Center. Since then my brother-in-law, my mother and a few friends have had Dr. Borus do their knee replacements and we all agree that he's the best! I'm almost seven years post surgery and I'm hiking, showing my dogs in agility and other sports and more active than I was before I had my knees replaced. I have no regrets!

Dr. Rust is a credit to his trade. I have been in good hands throughout the last year of his care. He's very personable and informative. Great stafff as well. I am really grateful to have come here.

I had a total knee replacement just over a year ago. Dr. Southerland and his PA, Joel Phillips, were wonderful. Shortly after surgery I had 120 degrees of flexion. Despite going to PT and being dedicated in rehab at home, my flexion suddenly became only 70. I was quickly scheduled for manipulation surgery with Dr. Southerland and have maintained a decent range of motion. At three months I was SUPing, playing tennis and even windsurfed again. It is amazing to me that I can be so active and not experience pain! At 40 I had ACL reconstruction and four subsequent surgeries. For 28 years I put up with my knee always aching after playing tennis and windsurfing. What a joy it is to enjoy being active and not have to be in pain!!!

I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Kafrouni three times. Every time he was patient and understanding to my questions and needs. I feel this doctor has a gift to truly understand what the patient is going through and has gone through. He was able to evaluate my care and re-evaluate the care that was given to me earlier by other doctors. He is a kind and honest doctor.

I did my due diligence looking for the best hand surgeon in the area and through the recommendations of various Dr's and hand therapists I ended up seeing Dr. Kirk Wong. He took the time to explain the X rays in detail and we discussed all the options, surgical and non surgical. By the time the conversation was done I had a a good handle on the best path forward. There were no unanswered questions and the appointment didn't feel rushed. All the people I dealt with at Rebound were polite, competent and happy. I would certainly recommend Rebound and Doctor Wong.
