Sophie Ellis, P.A.-C., M.S.

Physician Assistant to: Benjamin Jacobs, M.D.

Sophie Ellis received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Colorado Child Health Associate and Physician Assistant Program in Aurora, Colorado. She had an early focus in orthopedic surgery with an emphasis in pediatrics and sports medicine. She also received her Bachelor of Science in cell and molecular biology from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, while doing clinical research in spine surgery. She especially loved being able to do part of her physician assistant training internationally in New Zealand and South Africa.

Sophie is passionate about helping the underserved both here and internationally through medical missions. She is a proponent of patient education and making sure patients have the information needed to make the best decision for their care and treatment.

Her hobbies include being outdoors as much as possible, whether it is hiking, biking, camping, playing golf, or going to a sports game. She also enjoys traveling, baking, and reading a good book.
