John P. Kafrouni, M.D.

John P. Kafrouni, M.D., is a board-certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation providing comprehensive care of spinal, sports, and neuromuscular disorders with extensive experience in spinal cord injury. Dr. Kafrouni's interests include minimally invasive and ultrasound-guided orthobiologic/regenerative techniques to address spinal, joint, and extremity pain, electrodiagnosis, and diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound electrodiagnosis. He is subspecialty board-certified in Sports Medicine with special qualification in ultrasound.

He loves the diagnostic challenges that arise in his practice and recognizes individualized goals and patient education as keys to empowering patients toward recovery and lifelong health through exercise. He notes the importance of listening to his patients and helping them fulfill physical and functional goals. 

He is passionate about surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and in general, going fast on unstable objects.
