Danielle N. Ries de Chaffin, M.D.

Dr. Danielle Ries de Chaffin is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialty training in orthopedic trauma surgery. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, she received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin. She then completed five years of orthopaedic residency training there before moving to Minneapolis, where she completed her fellowship training in orthopedic trauma surgery at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Danielle practiced trauma surgery for seven years prior to moving with her family to Washington state. Her special interests include global care of the polytraumatized patient, pelvic and acetabular trauma, nonunions, and malunions.

Dr. Ries de Chaffin's goal is to provide every patient not only the treatment needed to heal their injury, but the understanding and support that they need to get back to living their life again.

In her free time, Dr. Ries de Chaffin enjoys spending time with her family, running, hiking, biking, skiing, and generally spending as much time outside as possible.
