Dr. David Impastato Selected to Teach at National Spine Conference

Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery is proud to share that fellowship-trained interventional spine specialist Dr. David Impastato will serve as a faculty instructor at the 5th Annual AAISN (American Academy of Interventional Spine and Neuromodulation) Image-Guided Interventional Spine Procedures Course, taking place on May 26, 2026.

This nationally recognized course brings together physicians from across the country to advance their skills in the latest minimally invasive spine procedures. As part of the faculty, Dr. Impastato will help train fellows and practicing providers on a range of advanced techniques used to treat chronic spine-related pain.

“It’s an honor to teach alongside other leaders in interventional spine care,” said Dr. Impastato. “These procedures are continuing to evolve, and it’s exciting to be able to both contribute to physician education and bring these advanced treatment options back to our patients at Rebound.”

Advancing Expertise in Spine Care

The course focuses on image-guided interventional procedures, including:

  • Radiofrequency ablation
  • Spinal cord stimulation (SCS)
  • Basivertebral nerve ablation (coming soon to Rebound!)

These treatments are designed to help patients manage chronic back and spine pain—often providing effective alternatives to more invasive surgical procedures.

Dr. Impastato’s participation as an instructor highlights his advanced training and expertise in interventional spine care, as well as Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery's ongoing commitment to clinical excellence and innovation.

Bringing Advanced Treatment Options to Our Community

In addition to spinal cord stimulation, Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery will soon be offering basivertebral nerve (BVN) ablation, an innovative, minimally invasive procedure designed to treat chronic low back pain originating from the vertebral endplates.

BVN ablation works by targeting and interrupting pain signals from the basivertebral nerve within the spine. For appropriately selected patients—particularly those with chronic low back pain that has not responded to conservative treatments—this procedure can provide long-lasting relief and improved function.

By staying actively involved in national education and training, Dr. Impastato brings the latest techniques and best practices back to the surrounding communities.
