Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery, one of the region’s largest independent orthopedic and neurosurgery practices, has entered into a new partnership with Regence and Signify Health aimed at establishing new standards for high-quality, cost-effective care for patients across Washington and Oregon.

Through the Regence Episodes of Care (EoC) program, managed by Signify Health, Rebound will provide holistic care to optimize patient outcomes at a competitive fixed price for patients’ entire health episodes - from evaluation to recovery - for several common procedures. With more than 35 physicians and nine locations across Portland, Vancouver and Lake Oswego, Rebound will lead this effort in providing Regence health plan members – including fully insured, ASO, and Medicare Advantage members – comprehensive pricing for orthopedic and neurological episodes, including hip replacement & revision, knee replacement & revision, knee arthroscopy, shoulder replacement, lumbar laminectomy, and lumbar spine fusion.

“The clinical teams providing care across our nine locations have always been dedicated to delivering care that will help patients get back to their quality of life as quickly as possible,” said Will Mowe, executive director of Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery. “Participating in this innovative program allows us to showcase our best-in-class approach to provide high-quality, affordable care and to be able to help more people throughout the region.”

"Regence is focused on partnerships that deliver more personalized, affordable, and effective care for our members," said Dr. Marion Couch, senior vice president of Health Care Services and chief medical officer for Regence. "Working closely with providers, like Rebound, we can deliver on our mission to provide patient-centered, lower cost care to those managing orthopedic and neurological injuries and conditions."

“By participating in the Regence EoC, Rebound is demonstrating its commitment to continuously improving outcomes for people facing potentially life altering injuries and conditions,” said Lisa Wagamon, senior vice president of network development at Signify Health. “We are excited to welcome them to the growing number of physician groups, hospitals and health systems that are willing to increase the quality of care and make healthcare more affordable in the region."
