I saw Dr. Southerland in February of 2015. I had had severe hip pain for the prior year. I had had multiple bilaterial knee surgeries over the prior 20 years. Dr. Southerland replaced both my hips and both my knees starting in April and ending in December. All four joints replaced in eight months. My world changed. I recently hiked three different falls on the big Island of Hawaii, yesterday I did 9000 steps on the stair master at the gym. Prior to my surgeries, I could barely walk to the bathroom. I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Kafrouni three times. Every time he was patient and understanding to my questions and needs. I feel this doctor has a gift to truly understand what the patient is going through and has gone through. He was able to evaluate my care and re-evaluate the care that was given to me earlier by other doctors. He is a kind and honest doctor.

Dr. Wei has operated and fixed both of my rotator cuffs the which were injured several years apart. I was always impressed with the doctors ability and counsel regarding the surgery.

My own surgery though important was not the thing that was most impressive to me. A close friend who drove large semi trucks severely injured his rotator cuff while chaining up his truck. He was sent to a required doctor by the state industrial accident fund. After that surgery he was never ale to raise this arm any higher than chest level. I recommended that he see Dr. Wei. After the surgery by Dr. Wei my friend regained at least 80% movement in the arm and is currently able to live a reasonably normal life.

Dr. Roberts changed my life! I had a MakOPlasty to relieve constant knee pain in 2010 and it now is pain free all the time. The recovery for me was slow, but I was probably trying to do too much too quickly.
